There was a lot of expectation around Alan Wake II, the sequel to the brilliant survival horror from Remedy Entertainment, which has been waiting no less than 13 years. Today is the launch day of the game, which comes to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, and since yesterday the specialized press began publishing their analyzes of the game. Fortunately it seems that criticism has surrendered to the game and the scores are really high and, although it is a year with a lot of competition, there are already many people pointing out that the title could be a clear candidate for Game of the Year.
At the time of writing this article, the game had an average of 88 on Metacritic, the website that compiles the ratings of the most internationally recognized media. This average was based on 37 reviews, although there are still many more to come. For example, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 already has an average of 90 with 137 reviews in the database.
