Tirupur: ‘Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express Coimbatore station will be closed for 23 days from tomorrow to Dec 8’, Salem Division has announced.
Express train departs from Alappuzha, Kerala at 6:00 a.m. every morning and reaches Dhanbad, Jharkhand on the third day. It will reach Coimbatore at 12:20 pm and Tirupur at 1:10 pm. From 16th to 8th Dec., 23 days between Botanur and Coimbatore, engineering development work is going on.
Thus, Dhanbad Express stops at Bothanur on its way from Palakkad to Coimbatore. Officials of Salem Railway Division said that this train which reaches Tirupur from Bothanur via Irkur will not go to Coimbatore station these days.
