Alappuzha: Youth Congress marched to the Alappuzha Collectorate to protest against the arrest of Youth Congress state president Rahul Mankoothil. Police used water cannons. Activists broke the barricades.
Youth Congress district president Praveen was surrounded and beaten by the police. Praveen, who was seriously injured, was rushed to the hospital by his companions. Women workers were also injured. The activists are being arrested by the police and are being removed.
