Alaska Airlines flight crashes after door shakes after takeoff Emergency landing
An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after the mid-cabin exit door at the back of the plane shook and a part of its fuselage exploded. The incident took place on Friday in Portland, Oregon, USA, shortly after the plane took off for Ontario, California.
There were 174 passengers and six crew members on board the Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-9 MAX when the incident occurred. Disturbing footage of the shaken door has gone viral on social media, although it remains unclear if anyone was injured.
Airline officials have stated that they are currently investigating the incident, while Boeing Airplanes has said that a Boeing technical team is ready to cooperate with the investigation.
