A new assignment for the professor, full professor of comparative private law at the Department of Private Law and History of Law of the University of Milan.
Albina Candianfull professor of comparative private law at the Department of Private Law and History of Law of the University of Milan, has joined the board of directors of Allianz SpA, as a director.
Candian has simultaneously assumed the role of chairman of the internal control and risk advisory committee and member of the remuneration advisory committee. The current board of Allianz spa will remain in office until the approval of the financial statements that will close on 31 December 2025.
Candian, founding partner of the law firm Albina Candian & Partners, was, among other things, a member of the board of directors of Assi.cra. Veneto srl, Sara Assicurazioni spa, Health Italia spa and Fidia Holding spa, and a member of the Ania study commission on bancassurance.
In the past, he also held the positions of chairman of the supervisory committee of Banca Network Investimenti spa in extraordinary administration and chairman of the supervisory committee of the same company in compulsory administrative liquidation, chairman of the board of auditors of Nuova Banca dell’Etruria e del Lazio spa, member of the supervisory committees of various insurance companies in compulsory administrative liquidation (La Concordia spa, La Peninsulare spa, Unica Assicurazioni spa) and member (following the appointment of Ania) of the single national conciliation and arbitration board (pursuant to article 18-bis of the National Insurance Agents Agreement 2003).
