From 11 October, ‘A particular day’ returns to La7, the second season of the program hosted by Aldo Cazzullo, broadcast every Wednesday in prime time – at 9.15pm.
Eight events in which history is intertwined with news, art and culture in exciting stories that take us to the present day. Eight evenings to learn about and interpret the events that occurred in great “special days” to rediscover the crucial passages but also the protagonists who contributed to changing the history of our country. We start with Mussolini – The Death of the Duce in which we will retrace the events that led to the end of Mussolini in his most dramatic day and full of mysteries never clarified. A trip to Italy at war in search of all the great questions that the Duce has dragged with him, the alternative theories on his killing and the Dongo gold affair, the treasure confiscated from the fascists and then mysteriously disappeared. Guests of the episode will be the historians Amedeo Osti Guerrazzi and Simona Colarizi, the tennis player Adriano Panatta, the journalist and writer Mirella Serri and the partisan Sandra Gilardelli.
