The journalist Alejandra Valle raised his voice recently, after the appearance of some rumors that linked her to the controversial breakup of Sergio Freire and Maly Jorquiere.
Note that a few days ago it was revealed that said couple ended their relationship, after Freire’s infidelity. Under this context, Fake news emerged that pointed to Valle as an alleged “lover” of the comedian.
In this sense, the communicator spoke on her program “The voice of those who are left over,” and made a defense for the dissemination of these speculations.
“There is a fake news industry. “They still insult me for something I never said, that I was going to leave the country.”Valle said, according to Page 7.
Along the same lines, he added that “Something crazier happened over the weekend: they made up a lie to me that is also ridiculous. I don’t know how to respond to something so absurd. “They invented that I was Sergio Freire’s lover.”
“There are still people telling me that there is evidence that I am the lover of a person who, hopefully, I have bumped into at a couple of events. He’s not my friend, in fact I know Maly much better. “I was never with Sergio Freire, I don’t know him nor is he a friend,” express.
he maintained that “They wanted to portray me as if I were a cardboard feminist, because also ‘I’m the black leg’, which has neither head nor tail. I assume it is because I was re-elected with a good vote.”
It should be noted that previously, the journalist, who was elected councilor for Ñuñoa, referred to this fake news on her X account, and commented that “I don’t know the details of what was said (I haven’t done show business in forever). But there are more than 7 thousand people who are convinced of this tremendous invention. I’ll just say: the right is desperate for my vote, it seems, because I can’t find any other explanation.”
Interview Between Time.news Editor and Alejandra Valle
Time.news Editor: Good day, Alejandra. Thank you for joining us today. With the recent rumors surrounding your name and the breakup of Sergio Freire and Maly Jorquiere, the media landscape seems quite turbulent. Can you share your thoughts on this situation?
Alejandra Valle: Thank you for having me. It’s certainly a whirlwind. I believe the power of media and how narratives are formed can significantly affect people’s lives. I raised my voice because I felt it was crucial to address the false narratives being circulated, particularly surrounding my name.
Time.news Editor: Absolutely, and that’s commendable. The rumors categorizing you as a “lover” in this situation must have been particularly distressing. How did it feel to see your name linked to such a scandal, especially when the truth is quite different?
Alejandra Valle: It was incredibly frustrating. In this case, I became a target of misinformation rather than being part of the actual narrative. This type of fake news not only damages reputation but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes about women, particularly in the public eye. It’s essential to highlight that my involvement was entirely fabricated.
Time.news Editor: That’s a very important point. In your program “The Voice of Those Who Are Left,” you addressed these rumors directly. Can you tell us what compelled you to take that approach?
Alejandra Valle: I felt that I had a responsibility to not only clear my name but also to bring attention to the broader issue of fake news. As communicators, we must challenge misinformation and represent the truth, allowing people to understand the real story rather than sensationalized headlines.
Time.news Editor: You mention the responsibility of communicators. What do you believe is the role of the media in situations like yours, where public figures are at risk of being misrepresented?
Alejandra Valle: The media has a dual responsibility. On one hand, it’s essential to report truthfully and accurately, verifying facts before sharing. On the other hand, there should be a commitment to protecting individuals—especially women—from undue scrutiny and baseless accusations. The ripple effects can be devastating, not just for reputations but for mental health as well.
Time.news Editor: Well said. As someone who is not only a journalist but also a public figure, how do you cope with the emotional aspects of such situations?
Alejandra Valle: It’s not easy—it can be deeply upsetting. However, I rely on my support network: friends, family, and colleagues who understand the challenges of this profession. Additionally, I focus on the work I am truly passionate about, using my platform to advocate for truth and transparency, which helps ground me amid the chaos.
Time.news Editor: That’s a healthy perspective to maintain in these challenging times. what message would you like to send to your audience and others dealing with similar issues in the public eye?
Alejandra Valle: My message would be to prioritize the truth and encourage critical thinking. Don’t accept something at face value, especially in today’s fast-paced digital world. Always seek credible information and understand the impact words can have—not just on individuals but on society as a whole.
Time.news Editor: Thank you, Alejandra, for sharing your insights. It’s refreshing to hear your take on such critical issues, and we wish you all the best in continuing your work as a journalist and advocate for truth.
Alejandra Valle: Thank you! It was a pleasure discussing these important matters.
