Film director Alejandro Ulloa shared details about his foray into the world of feature films during an exclusive interview at Studio 42 with Rich Vega.
Ulloa announced with enthusiasm: “I am at a point in my career where I am taking very important steps and I am going to start a new project that is my first feature film.”
During the conversation, the filmmaker reflected on his beginnings in the world of cinema, confessing: “As a child I watched movies, I got excited and fell in love with art.”
Despite having family roots in the political and legal field, Ulloa expressed his exclusive passion for cinema: “My whole family has been more involved in the political and legal field, I love those topics, but I don’t see myself doing more than this. “I don’t see myself in an office or it’s a movie theater or I have no other option.”
Highlighting his deep love for cinematography, Ulloa stated: “I fell in love with cinema more than I liked it.”
The filmmaker also shared details about his previous work, including his short film “Cóctel para dos,” inspired by a personal experience: “I made a short called Cóctel para dos, it is a film that I wrote based on a fight I had with an ex-girlfriend And Mexican cinema grabbed that film.”
Additionally, Ulloa revealed that his short film will be screened at a film festival in Spain, followed by a presentation in New York.
Finally, Ulloa mentioned his previous project, the feature film “From time to time death”, thus adding more dimensions to his growing film portfolio.
