by time news

Apple Watch has saved an elderly man’s life. We have heard about this before. A similar incident has taken place in England. An ECG sensor in a smartwatch has saved an elderly man’s life by detecting a slowing heart rate and alerting him.

Not just once or twice, but over 3,000 times. The ECG heart sensor saved his life by sending low heart rate alerts nearly 3,000 times.

Elderly David Last said, “My wife gave me this watch as a gift. After several warnings from the watch, we decided to go to the hospital. After doing several medical tests, the report came as a shock to me. It was discovered that I had a heart problem,” he said.

According to the report, the old man’s heart rate has dropped below 30 beats per minute. Apple Watch detects and alerts with ECG sensor. Normal heart rate should be 60-100 beats per minute. His heart rate was found to have slowed 138 times in 10 seconds in 48 hours.

The doctors who examined the old man said that he had a heart block and that he needed immediate surgery. Later, the old man underwent surgery and doctors said that he is doing well now. He credited Apple Watch (Apple Company) for saving his life by providing a timely warning. Apple is excited about the invention of the Watch.

This isn’t the first time the Apple Watch has saved lives. Apple Watch detects high/slow BP or heart rate of users and alerts them. Meanwhile, the company is set to launch new Apple Watches this week, including the Apple Watch Series 8, Watch SE 2 and Apple Watch Pro. All the watches will reportedly have fitness features.
