Through her X account, the elected mayor of Cuauhtémoc, Alessandra Rojo De la Vegareported that the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of Mexico City “confirmed his victory.”
And according to his post, the Superior Court only ordered a partial recount of 73 polling stations in which 743 invalid votes were recorded, which would not alter the results already issued.
“The victory is irreversible and today the institutions, the rule of law and electoral norms also win,” reads his post on X.
Although Rojo De la Vega published this information on his social network, the partial recount will be carried out this Monday 29th at 9:00 AM.
“We are ready for the partial recount and to enforce the will of the citizens,” he added.
