After the Under 30 edition dedicated to budding chefs, back up TV8Chefs of Italy – the championship of the regions “, produced by Banijay Italia, from 26 April, from Monday to Friday, at 19.30.

With the traditional format it is back to running chef Alessandro Borghese, and the two colleagues on the jury Gennaro Esposito e Cristiano Tomei.

20 competitors from as many regions del Belpaese compete in the kitchen to obtain the coveted title of Best Regional Chef of Italy. The protagonists of the dispute, in fact, are first and second courses typical of our local tradition, prepared with quality raw materials and witnesses of the territory of origin of each cook. The format remains unchanged: each episode, consisting of two rounds, sees the challengers grappling with the preparation of a dish that will then be judged by the two chefs Tomei and Esposito.

The first 10 episodes are round-trip direct elimination challenges, during which each chef tries his hand at making a dish from one region and then another, trying to conquer the podium. Whoever passes the first round enters the second phase.

Only five competitors then enter the third round, while the sixth is fished out among the losers. Only two competitors then access the final, which includes a regional menu, consisting of the two courses that best enhance the excellence of the territory, to be submitted to the judgment of Tomei and Esposito. The winner receives a prize of € 10,000 in gold tokens.
