CALDARO. Alex Marangonthe Venetian bartender who worked for years at the restaurant in Caldaro “Gretl Am See”, he died for some shots to the head and then ended up in the Piave River where his body was found on July 2 on an islet in Ciano del Montello.
The alarm was raised at the Vidor Abbey where he had gone to follow a sort of shamanic rite. This was established by the doctors who performed the autopsy on the young man’s body yesterday.
The report shows that numerous head wounds were identified, likely caused by a blunt object.
The examination was performed by the coroner Alberto Furlanetto, appointed by the Treviso Public Prosecutor’s Office, and by Antonello Cirnelli, pof the victim’s family. The carabinieri, to whom the Marca Prosecutor’s Office entrusted the investigation, were also present at the autopsy. The suicide hypothesis has therefore been definitively dismissed.
Meanwhile, behind the counter and among the tables of the “Gretl am See” (yesterday crowded with tourists), there is the inevitable sadness of the colleagues.
