The 33-year-old player was recently linked with a return to FC Porto, but the Portuguese giants have ruled out a possible deal. His future is now likely to lie with São Paulo, who have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners in the race to secure his services, ahead of Botafogo and Palmeiras.
