A devastating head-on collision on the Val di Non state road in Trentino, Italy, has claimed the life of 22-year-old Alex Ugolini of Lavis. The accident, which occurred Sunday evening, also left an 18-year-old female in serious condition.

Ugolini succumbed to his injuries at Trento hospital after being admitted to intensive care. The incident has deeply shaken the local community, with officials expressing their condolences to the family. “This is terrible news – which affects the entire community,” stated a local official.

Dramatic Rescue Operation Following Fiery Crash

A coordinated response was launched, involving three ambulances, the helicopter emergency medical team, firefighters from Denno and Campodenno, and carabinieri officers. Both Ugolini and the 18-year-old were initially stabilized at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, Ugolini’s injuries proved fatal. The 18-year-old remains hospitalized in serious condition.
