Impressive reinforcement for Maccabi Haifa’s youth team: the 18-year-old Bosnian striker, Aleksandar Kahvic, signed with Carmel today (Monday) and will join Masai Dego’s squad. The striker comes to the team on loan from Red Star Belgrade and the greens have an option on his card. He will of course take part in the team’s matches in the group stage of the Champions League, where they play against Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Benfica, which they beat last week.
According to a report in Serbia, the purchase option that the champion has is 400 thousand euros. Standing at 1.92 meters tall, Kahvic has played for all of Bosnia’s youth teams and recently made three appearances for his homeland’s youth team. In the last two years, as a player of the youth team of the Red Star, Kakhevich recorded monstrous numbers and scored 38 goals in 61 games.
