Alexander Zverev, the world’s number four, is determined to win his first Grand Slam title and qualified for the US Open quarterfinals this Sunday.
The German tennis player once again demonstrated that he is one of the strongest contenders for the title after eliminating one of the major surprises of the tournament: Brandon Nakashima.
The German put on an impressive display, defeating the American with scores of 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, and 6-2, after 2 hours and 40 minutes in a match where Sascha faced no challenges after losing the first set, as he did not face a single break point from the second set onwards.
