The Barcelona player Alexia Putellas will undergo a test this Wednesday arthroscopy of revision of his left knee, as reported by the Barcelona club on Tuesday. The intervention will serve to examine the discomforts that the footballer has been suffering since last November 14 and that have prevented her from playing the last official matches with her team. In the press release, the Barcelona club has specified that “at the end of the intervention” the Club will inform about the prognosis of the player’s injury.
Alexia Putellas has been suffering from this ailment in his left knee since Barcelona’s Champions League group stage match against Benfica. Until today, the winner of the Ballon d’Or in 2021 and 2022 had been exercising apart from her teammates.

After more than a month without activity, the club’s medical services have decided that it would go through the operating room to know the reason for this ailment. Before suffering these discomforts, the Mollet midfielder, de 29 yearshad played eight games with Barça this season – seven in the F League and one in the Champions League – in which he had scored four goals.

In July 2022, Alexia Putellas suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in it same knee which did not allow him to play with Barcelona and the Spanish national team until the last part of the 2022-23 season.
