East Texas volleyball has seen a season of exceptional talent, but it was Longview’s Trinity Jackson who emerged as the standout performer, earning Time News’ coveted Player of the Year honors. Jackson’s remarkable all-around contributions, culminating in District 10-6A Setter of the Year recognition adn an MVP nod at the East Texas Volleyball All-Star Games, cemented her position as the region’s top player.

A Season of Dominance for Jackson

Jackson finished the season with impressive statistics: 702 assists, 401 kills, 313 digs, 45 blocks, and 60 aces. These numbers not only showcase her versatility but also her consistent impact on every facet of the game. Throughout her career, the Lady Lobo standout has amassed a remarkable record of success.

Spring Hill’s Harbison Honored as coach of the Year

Harbison’s strategic prowess was evident in their dominant 14-0 run through District 16-4A and a strong playoff showing, including victories over Brownsboro, Pleasant Grove, Panther Creek, and Aubrey before a narrow 3-2 loss to eventual state champion Eagle Mountain. With a career record of 403-203, including 216-82 at Spring Hill, Harbison’s leadership is undeniable.

Rising Stars: Schroeder and tubb Earn Newcomer Recognition

Longview’s Landry Tubb and Pine Tree’s Blair Schroeder were jointly recognized as Co-Newcomers of the Year. tubb contributed significantly to the Lady Lobos’ defense with 628 digs, 28 aces, and 42 assists. Schroeder, for the Lady Pirates, showcased her all-around skills with 166 kills, 329 digs, 41 assists, 51 aces, and eight blocks. Both players are poised for continued success in the years to come.

All-Area Teams Reflect depth of Talent

The First Team selections highlight the breadth of talent across East Texas.Beckville’s Kellen Weaver,the District MVP,led the charge with 375 kills,56 blocks,and 62 aces. Joining her are Jaharia hunter (Longview), kaycin Farrell (Hallsville), Elizabeth Corbitt (Spring Hill – District Hitter of the Year), Savannah Irwin (Spring Hill – District Co-MVP), Kaysen Foster (Tatum – Co-District MVP and All-Star MVP), Kamdyn Scott (Tatum – District Co-MVP, signed with Metropolitan State University/Denver), Carly Chadwick (Pine Tree – District co-MVP), Taydem Barker (Tatum – district Setter of the Year), and Davil (Marshall).

The Second Team features Kylee Fernandez (Hallsville), Bryleigh Mayhan (pine Tree), Andee bridges (White Oak), Chesney Jeter (Spring Hill), caroline Cockerham (Carthage), Elle Litchenburg (Kilgore), Keeley McCann (Sabine), Kimora Pryor (West rusk), Kaylee Londeau (Spring Hill), and Kyndal Greenwood (Tatum – District’s Libero of the Year).

Rounding out the recognition, the Third team includes Calleigh Secord (Spring Hill), Giselle Webster (Kilgore), Hannah Haffner (West Rusk), London Baker (White Oak), Chloe Green (New Diana – District MVP), Sarah Roberts (Sabine), Lilly Fry (Hallsville – District’s Setter of the Year), Taryn Reece (New Diana), Carli Tuttle (Beckville – District’s Top Setter), and Laney Alexander (Carthage).
