All facilities are ready to receive millions of believers in Makkah and Madinah during Ramadan

RIYADH: All facilities in Makkah and Madinah mosques are fully equipped for millions of devotees during Ramadan. Iruharam office has prepared a wide range of facilities to receive the pilgrims considering the increased traffic during this time. The regional governors visited the Harams and checked the Ramadan plans and the facilities provided to the pilgrims.

It is expected that more people will visit Madinah for Umrah this Ramadan than usual due to the complete removal of covid prevention restrictions and the simplification of visa procedures.
Various departments have formulated special plans for Ramadan. Mechanisms have also been put in place to reduce congestion. It has been directed to open all the gates of the two Harams and prepare more places for Namazam, including the parts where the construction work has been completed.

Those intending to perform Umrah have already been informed that they should have done Moonkutty booking. Accommodations have also been increased in Makkah and Madinah. Iruharam office chief Dr. Abdurrahman Alsudais said. Both the Harams are fully equipped to receive millions of people. All the places have been prepared for the Umrah pilgrims and those who come to pray and the necessary services have been prepared in these places.
Lifts, sound, lighting and other technical, service and engineering systems are all ensured to be flawless. Also willing to provide awareness and guidance. A dedicated team will supervise to ensure creativity and efficiency of services using latest technologies. The field is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to provide the best protection and services.

Agencies and sub-agencies under the Iruharam Office and their departments and units will be on the scene to provide better services. Dr. Dr. Alsudaiz said.
