The portal 15min.lt was the first to report that the company had not submitted financial statements for four years.
Mindaugas Samkus, press representative of the Registry Center, commented on the situation in more detail.
“Currently, this company is being initiated into liquidation – this legal status was granted to it by the decision of the Registry Center last November. Pursuant to the Civil Code, the Registry Center can initiate the liquidation of legal entities when they have been inactive for more than 12 months. does not submit mandatory annual financial reports – it is precisely for this reason that the liquidation of the company was initiated”, explained M.Samkus.
He added that such legal status can be revoked by the company only in court and only after eliminating the circumstances that led to it being granted, that is, by submitting mandatory financial statements.
“If within one year of the initiated liquidation, the Center of Registers does not receive a court decision on the cancellation of this process, the legal entity is liquidated and de-registered from the Register of Legal Entities. Therefore, if no information is received from the court about the change of status, the aforementioned company will be deregistered in November of this year”, said the representative of the Registry Center.
