For the past few days, the socio-political climate has been very tense in Senegal with around ten deaths. In a statement released Tuesday, June 6, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) announced the suspension of all football competitions until further notice.
“The Senegalese Football Federation informs the Presidents of the Amateur Football League (LFA), the Professional Football League (LSFP), the Presidents of regional football leagues and the Presidents of clubs that, given the situation security prevailing in the country and on instructions from the hierarchical authority, all football competitions are suspended until further notice throughout the national territory”, can we read in the press release
