Karur District Basketball Association organized the All India Women’s Basketball Tournament at Karur Thiruvalluvar Sports Ground for 5 days starting from 8th. The finals took place last night. In this, the Kerala Power Team and the South Western Railway Hooghly team clashed. In this, the Kerala Power Team won with the score of 73-48 and took the first place and won the champion title. 2nd place was won by South Western Railway team. 3rd position was taken by Chennai Chatan Railway team and 4th position by Sai Sports Center Chhattisgarh team. Karur Corporation Commissioner Ravichandran felicitated the winning teams.
