According to UEFA regulations, the Champions League round of 16 were allowed to add a maximum of three new additions to their squad’s A list in the winter. In addition, postponements within the club were possible, for example due to injuries – or, as in the case of Napoli, because negotiations broke down. All renovations of the 16 clubs before the start of the knockout phase:
