This mine is not only diamond but also amethyst – garnet, calcite, peridot and about 40 different precious minerals. The people who have dug these are also allowed to take them away.
Even more interesting is the fact that some of the gems found here have become popular. They include the two largest diamonds ever found in the United States, the 40.23-carat Uncle Sam (1924), and the 34.25-carat Star of Murfreesboro (1964), followed by the 15.33-carat Star of Arkansas (1956). ), popular. Other stones are smaller in size but more in value.
