“All the vacant teacher and non-teacher posts in higher education institutions, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya schools will be filled up soon,” Union Education Minister Tamendra Pradhan said on Tuesday.
Pradhan, who is also the Union Minister for Skill Development, assured that “both Ministries will take necessary steps to fill all the vacancies in the relevant departments within the next one and a half years”.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the government to take immediate action to lay off 10 lakh people in various departments and ministries in the next one and a half years,” the Union Education Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The Prime Minister issued this instruction on the basis of a recent study on the human resource status of all departments and ministries,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
In this context, Union Minister Thamendra Pradhan on Tuesday posted on his Twitter page that all the vacancies in the Union Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development will be filled in the next one and a half years. With this people-centric decision, employment will increase and there will be enthusiasm and confidence among Indian youth, ”she said.
