The incident began when Zein, the victim’s sister, heard a woman’s scream calling her name. She immediately went to the source of the sound and witnessed her younger brother, identified by the initials “S,” being molested.

Zein attempted to intervene to protect her brother, leading to a physical confrontation with the perpetrators at the scene. Following the incident, she went to the perpetrators’ residence.

Knife Attack Follows Intervention

Upon opening the door,Zein was met with a violent response. the perpetrator pushed her and then brandished a knife, attempting to stab her in the neck. Fortunately, she managed to deflect the attack, but suffered a wound to her right hand.

Head of Metro Jaya police Public Relations commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi confirmed the details,stating,”When the reporter opened the door to the house reported,there was a push. Then the reported holding the knife, this was the evidence, then immediately pointed the knife to the head of the reporter.”

Arrests Made, Investigation ongoing

Police have taken YLK and EKK into custody. The investigation is still ongoing to uncover further details surrounding the molestation accusations, according to Commissioner Ade Ary Syam indradi. “This case has been revealed, it still needs to be developed, deepening, and this case will be investigated or processed thoroughly,” he stated.

Prior to the incident, there was an earlier report of molestation and assault against Bahar Bin Smith’s sister in the morning around 02.30 WIB on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Gang Sate, Pondok Benda Village, Pamulang, South Tangerang.

The sister reported the incidents claiming she was also hacked while trying to protect her brother from the attempted rape. “It has been completed,this afternoon Bada Asr the report has been submitted and has been received by the police,” said Zein’s attorney,Ikhwan Kota.
