According to Indian media reports, Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof, his daughters, actresses Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and his wife Joyce Polycarp are among his mourners.
As soon as the news of Anil Arora’s death came out, where the police reached the actress’ house to investigate the incident, Malaika Arora’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was also seen outside her house.

According to Indian media, when Malaika Arora was 11 years old, there was a divorce between her parents, after which the actress and her younger sister Amrita Rao started living with their mother. Anil Arora was living with his ex-wife Joyce for a long time and even at the time of suicide, Joyce was present at her ex-husband’s residence.
Hours after Anil Arora’s suicide, the police recorded the statement of his ex-wife Joyce, in which Malaika’s mother said that Anil used to sit on the balcony and read the newspaper every morning, on the morning of Wednesday, September 11, when he Seeing her ex-husband Anil’s slippers in the room, she went to look for him in the balcony but he was not there, then she looked down from the balcony and saw the watchman of her building screaming for help and Anil lying on the ground. Arora was not suffering from any disease, he only had pain in his knees.
