Only a few weeks ago, Marc Dumitru became a father for the first time. But a stalker is spoiling the TV actor’s family happiness.
Actors Marc and Kristina Dumitru have been married since 2018. A few weeks ago, the couple announced that they had become parents: their son was born in mid-June.
But the couple cannot really enjoy the time with their one-month-old baby: “Alles was zählt” actor Marc Dumitru reveals in an RTL interview that he has had a stalker for four years – and she is now threatening his family too.
The situation is nothing new for Marc Dumitru: He reports that his stalker follows him at regular intervals and spreads untruths about him. At first she only wrote him letters, but now the matter is taking on a new dimension. The woman now comments on numerous social media posts – and also has her sights set on the 38-year-old’s family: “Kristina is not pregnant by Marc” or “Kristina is mentally ill herself, the poor child,” she claims about Dumitru’s wife, for example.
One comment in particular scares Marc Dumitru, which discusses the possible death of his one-month-old son. “Of course that’s worrying,” explains the series star. The police and public prosecutor’s office have already been informed – so far without success. The first case has been dropped, and a second is currently underway.
Marc and Kristina Dumitru have felt helpless ever since they received the news about their baby: “That was the point where we thought: OK, crazy, we’ve already tried to follow so many steps and go to the police. What else do we have to do to really put an end to this?”
The family’s immediate circle is also feeling the extent of the stalking. The woman has now also contacted business partners and friends of Marc Dumitru. His “Alles was zählt” colleague Féréba Koné also received messages. The stalker saw her as a threat because she had an affair with the actor in her role as Imani in the series. “Of course I was terrified at first,” said the 34-year-old. Just like her TV colleague, she hopes that the verbal attacks will soon come to an end.
