Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Four new advisers sworn in on Friday (Aug 16) as advisers to the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government have reshuffled the portfolios and reassigned eight of the current advisers. This information was known from the notification of the Cabinet Department on Friday.

Among the new four advisers are Wahid Uddin Mahmud in the Ministry of Planning and Ministry of Education; Ali Imam Majumdar in the office of Chief Adviser; Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan has been given responsibility in the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Ministry of Railways and Lieutenant General Jahangir Alam Chowdhury in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture.

Among the advisers sworn in earlier were Saleh Uddin Ahmed, Ministry of Finance and Commerce; Asif Nazrul to Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment and Ministry of Cultural Affairs; Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Housing and Public Works to Adilur Rahman Khan; Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Ministry of Water Resources to Syeda Rizwana Hasan; Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to Nahid Islam; Asif Mahmood to Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Labor and Employment; Farooq-e-Azam has been given the responsibility of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and Brigadier General Sakhawat Hussain has been given the responsibility of Ministry of Textiles and Jute.

The notification of the Cabinet Department said that the duties of other advisers will remain unchanged.
