New Delhi: There is important news for homebuyers of Amrapali Group. Under the supervision of the Supreme Court, the stalled project of Amrapali is being made by the government company NBCC. Meanwhile, a list of some homebuyers of Amrapali whose allotment has been canceled has been released. These homebuyers had registered themselves in the customer portal but did not make the payment for their flats in UCO Bank. A notice issued in the newspapers today states that the revival requests of such people will no longer be accepted and they can contact the court receiver’s office within 30 days in this regard. This includes the names of homebuyers of various schemes of Amrapali. These projects are in Noida and Greater Noida. This list includes Amrapali’s Adarsh Awas Yojana in Greater Noida, Centurion Park Terrace Homes, Dream Valley-2, Enchant, Golf Homes, Kingswood, Leisure Park, Leisure Valley, O-2 Valley, River The names of homebuyers from The View and Verona Heights are included. Besides, names of buyers of many projects in Noida are also included in these. These include Crystal Homes, Heart Beat City Phase-1, Heart Beat City Phase-2, Platinum, Princely Estate, Sapphire-II and Silicon City-2. In July 2019, the responsibility of completing Amrapali’s projects through NBCC was given to the Court Receiver. 38 thousand flats were to be prepared in three years, but due to Corona and non-availability of funds on time, 16 thousand flats could be prepared in four and a half years.

Good news for Amrapali homebuyers, NBCC sets deadline, everyone will get flat by this date

How many flats were handed over?

In the last four and a half years, NBCC has prepared 16 thousand flats and handed them over to the court receiver, but out of these, only 6 thousand flats have been handed over. The remaining 10 thousand have not been handed over even after being ready. Homebuyers allege that a lot of time is being wasted in taking decisions in their cases. Even in disputed matters, there should be a deadline for taking the decision. Homebuyers are facing problems even in non-dispute cases. Lack of mutual coordination between the teams remains a major hurdle in getting their documents verified. People are feeling most harassed in dual allotment cases. Many such buyers are coming forward who have gone to the court receiver’s office 150-200 times but still no decision is being taken in their cases. This is the reason why handover of 10 thousand flats has not been done even after being ready.
