jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri touched on the issue of officials who are lazy about going around the regions.
He said officials only travel around when they want to gain power.
This was conveyed in his speech at the handover of duplicate heirloom flags to governors throughout Indonesia at Balai Samudra, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Monday (5/8).
“How can you not want to see our beloved republic? So what then? Do you just want to gain power by bringing (regions when you want to) become an official? Hehe, nonsenseit won’t last,” said Megawati.
Megawati also said that she often takes her children and grandchildren to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP) to look for unnamed gravestones.
This proves that in the past there were people who were willing to die for the country without needing recognition.
“Imagine going to TMP with my children and grandchildren to strangle. And I told them to look for the first tombstone without a name. That’s what I made,” he said.
“Why are those who are sought without names? Because their devotion cannot be bought, cannot be sold, they are willing to sacrifice without names. Ask the TMP,” he stressed.
