Brazilian Almir⁢ dos Santos finished in⁤ 11th place in the triple jump final ​at the Paris Olympic Games on Friday. Despite three attempts, the athlete ‍was unable to achieve a ‍mark sufficient to qualify for the final three jumps.

The event, held at the Stade ⁤de France in ⁢Saint-Denis, saw Almir become the first of the 12 finalists ‌to jump. His first attempt yielded a disappointing 16.41m. In his second ⁤attempt, a foul⁢ marred his qualification⁢ hopes.
