At least 29 people were injured in a massive accident in Holguín that occurred this Tuesday morning, according to media reports from the Castro regime.

The reports stated that the accident occurred specifically in the Siboney area, via Bayamo, between Cacocum and Yaguabo.

A truck carrying 30 passengers was involved in this massive accident in Holguín. The incident apparently occurred when the private passenger transportation truck that covered the Holguín-Bayamo route left the road after one of its tires exploded and caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Emergency services were mobilized to the accident site in Holguín to transfer passengers to area hospitals.

In that sense, it was specified that 28 of the injured are in the Lucía Íñiguez Landín surgical clinical hospital and a pregnant woman of more than 25 weeks of gestation was transferred to the Perinatology ward of the Vladimir Ilich Lenin university hospital.

Likewise, it emerged that, of the 28 injured people who are admitted to the Lucía Íñiguez Hospital, five are in serious condition with code red, while one of the passengers presented a bone pelvis fracture.

It is important to mention that, this Tuesday, a traffic accident was also reported in Las Tunas that left six people injured.

Accidents continue to be the order of the day in Cuba, while the Castro authorities continue without promoting preventive measures that seek to avoid more accidents on the streets of the island.
