The UN experts specifically point out that they cannot yet estimate the number of civilian casualties in the Kursk region, where Ukrainian troops entered on August 6.

According to UN estimates, a total of 11,743 Ukrainian civilians have been killed and 24,614 injured as a result of the war waged by Russia, most of them in the territory controlled by the legitimate authority of Ukraine, that is, they were victims of Russian strikes.
