A Missouri woman was “minutes away” from throwing a million dollar winning lottery ticket in the trash after it had been left in her car for two days. Luckily, she decided to check her numbers before throwing the ticket away
A US citizen from Missouri, luckily decided to check her numbers before throwing away the card that was lying around in her car. After checking, she was amazed to find out that she had won the second prize worth one million dollars. In a statement on September 9, the Missouri Lottery said: “A woman who bought a Missouri Lottery was minutes away from throwing away a million dollar ticket after it had been lying in her car for two days.”

It was also said that “fortunately, she decided to check the lottery game she bought in St. Louis, before doing so.”
The winner was quoted: “I stopped at the gas station to check my ticket, just to make sure I wasn’t throwing away a winning ticket. I scanned the ticket, and it said I won a million dollars, and to go to the lottery office, I didn’t believe it was real, I scanned the ticket several times, I thought maybe It’s not normal, but it kept responding that I won.”
