Purpose of the Award: to give a voice to the male caragivers who take care of a sick woman, inviting them to share their experiences through a website
Stories about women, but written by men. P
artners, friends, siblings, fathers or children who live alongside women facing an illness and they are direct witnesses and narrators of their courage and strength. These are the stories of #afiancodelcoraggio, the Literary Prize conceived and promoted by Roche with the intention of giving support and value to the male caregivers who accompany a woman in the care path. In 2022 the award makes use of the nnew partnership with the Anica Academy Foundation, the high school of specialization in cinema, audiovisual and media entertainment.
From the stories, a short film
The young students of the «Creating Stories» course will have to develop three subjects inspired by the finalist stories
i to be submitted to the jury of the Prize who will decide the winning story to become a short film / spot. On the occasion of the presentation of the initiative, it was also previewed
The dog Yago, the spot taken from the winning story of #afiancodelcoraggio 2019-2020, played by Giulio Corso and Federica De Benedittis, directed by Alessandro Guida. The commercial will air on the Mediase networkst – Iris and La 5 – and in the cinema circuits partners of the initiative (Circuito Cinema, Massimo Ferrero Cinemas and The Space).
