Alpha Bank is without ebanking: The bank’s application and website “crashed”

Serious technical problems were faced by the ebanking – mobile banking and internet banking – of Alpha Bank on the last day of the deadline for registering professionals and businesses in the IRIS immediate payment system.

More specifically, users were unable to proceed with any actions as the login was “stuck” both on the computer and the mobile phone, an issue that was resolved shortly after 5:00 PM.

The bank stated: “Significant update (02.09.2024)”

Occasional delays in connecting or performing transactions via Alpha Web and Mobile Banking are being observed. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the issue. Thank you for your understanding.”
