Alpine continues its relentless rise to the top by participating in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for the first time in its history.

Designed to master the curves of the 19.93 km climb into the clouds, Alpine A110 Pikes Peak is a true work of art in terms of aerodynamics and engine to face the challenge of Pikes Peak. Thanks to a close and fruitful collaboration between the Alpine Design Office teams, guided by Raphaël Linari (responsible for design), and those of Signatech, led by Lionel Chevalier (technical director) and Francois Letort (responsible for the project), the car, more extreme than ever, has been transformed into a true racing beast.

Highlights include the extremely pronounced front lip and spoilers at the ends of the bumper, not to mention the imposing rear wing to generate downforce through the 156 corners of the race.

The radical work carried out on the Alpine A110 R also benefits it, through the side skirts and the diffuser of this unique model, while an air intake appears on the roof to fill the engine raised to almost 500 CV with air. Specific work on weight has also been carried out to reduce the mass of the model to 950 kilograms.

The brand’s designers have thus embraced their choice of extreme, showmanship and visual impact while retaining certain original proportions so that the car remains suitable for the Time Attack 1 category. This is reflected in the inclusion of a Le Mans-style shark fin on the rear window, which extends to cut into the massive rear wing.

The light signature has also received a more aggressive treatment. The two circles on the front have been replaced by two very thin laser-cut lines. At the same time, the lighting functions of the taillights have been moved to three vertical segments on the sides and center, in a nod to Le Mans, while reinforcing the perceived width of the model, which is emphasized by other details such as specific tires.
