Alpine to Unveil New Pink Livery in Las Vegas, Aiming for Points Surge

Alpine is set to debut a striking new look at the highly anticipated Las Vegas Grand Prix, extending the team’s distinctive pink color scheme – a result of its partnership with BWT – through the remainder of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

The collaboration between Alpine and Austrian water technology company BWT has become synonymous with vibrant pink paintwork on the team’s race cars. This year, the partnership continues, with an even more prominent display of the BWT brand color planned for the Las Vegas race. The team’s side pods, previously Alpine blue in Brazil, will now feature the signature BWT pink.

Brazilian Grand Prix Results Fuel Optimism

Drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will carry this new aesthetic into the upcoming races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, buoyed by Gasly’s recent performance at the São Paulo Grand Prix. The Frenchman secured points in both the sprint and the Grand Prix, setting a positive tone for the final stretch of the season.

“The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is an interesting track that obviously suits me,” Gasly remarked. “It’s always cool to speed along the legendary strip and whiz past the various sights.” He added that, despite a strong qualifying performance last year, a more consistent weekend is the goal this time around, building on the momentum from Brazil. Gasly also acknowledged the unique challenges posed by the late start time and low temperatures.

Colapinto, while facing a difficult weekend in Brazil marked by crashes, shares the enthusiasm for the Las Vegas circuit. “The track is certainly one of the highlights of the season,” he stated. “The conditions will certainly be challenging, and the expected low temperatures will of course play a role in our preparation. We will work hard to make the most of the weekend.”
