THE FIGARO MAGAZINE. – According to a Harris poll, 86% of French people say they have a good image of alternative medicine, but 44% of them consider themselves ill-informed about them. What are the main obstacles to the transparency of information concerning the practitioners of these non-conventional medicines, in your opinion?

Natacha CALESTREME. – Unlike conventional medicine, which is based on experimental evidence, alternative medicine is the subject of few studies – the experiments remain individual, non-reproducible – and are therefore not scientifically validated.
