INTERVIEW – The biologist has observed for years that animals are capable of complex behaviors, which were thought to be strictly human attributes.

Emmanuelle POUYDEBAT.- I wanted to show that we can put emotions at the heart of research, without distorting the results. Contrary to what we have always been taught, the relationships that a scientist allows himself to form with animals, domestic or wild, are meaningful. Curiosity, wonder and observation fuel research. I have lots of projects that were born like that, while walking in parks and gardens.
