Shaham is going to close for half a consecutive year of negative mobility? Who until two years ago was the yield leader, which attracted more deposits than competitors, is known to have experienced a difficult period this year in the short term, partly due to its bet on China. With the disappointing returns, it also seems that long-term savers are becoming more skeptical, or at least afraid – so, last November, net negative movements (redemptions minus fundraising) of NIS 3.3 billion were recorded in Altshuler Shaham Gamel. They have never had such a month before.

These are therefore five consecutive months of net negative mobility, and it is likely that the trend will continue in December as well. Except for one month, September, the rate of negative mobility even increased. Thus, while in July there were negative movements of NIS 435 million, in August they jumped to 1.3 billion, in September they dropped to billion, but to almost double themselves to NIS 1.9 billion in October.

It opened the year with positive movements of NIS 1.9 billion in January and has since dropped to NIS 0.2 billion in June. The first half of the year also did not help enough with the redemptions that came later, since since the beginning of the year, the mobility has been negative by about NIS 2.3 billion.

In the study funds on the general track for November, Altshuler stood almost at the bottom of the table with a return of 0.01%. Only Excellence below it with a negative return of 0.01%. The average for that month was a positive return of 0.17%. Moore led the table with a positive return of 0.42%. Since the beginning of the year this time Altshuler has indeed closed the table with a return of 9.01%. The average since the beginning of the year is 12.17% and the leader in the period is Meitav Dash with 13.6%.

The largest fundraiser since the beginning of the year is the Moore Investment House with positive mobilizations of NIS 11.7 billion. In November, his positive mobility was about a billion shekels. One of the growth engines that Altshuler emphasizes is the area of pensions, not just by default. By default, however, Altshuler faces competition from Moore, who joined the settlement in the last tender held.
