Alvac has joined the Spanish Road Association (AEC).
“It is a great pride to join the AEC and do our bit to defend and promote the highway as an essential means of transport and a fundamental lever for the development of our society”, the company has pointed out.
For more than 30 years, since its foundation in 1985, the company’s main activity has been road maintenance. In this area, it has contracts for the maintenance of 2,000 kilometers of roads in Spain.
However, at present, Alvac is immersed in a process of expansion and diversification of activities in sectors such as concessions, environment, civil works, services, industry and building.
In the field of sustainability, Alvac is one of the beneficiary entities of the Sustainable and Digital Transport Support programme, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
Specifically, it receives this aid for its ‘Geosafety’ project, a system designed to reduce the accident rate of workers on the road, improve their visibility and call attention to drivers through vehicle navigators.
