The Spanish rider Álvaro Bautista, current Superbike world champion, will race in the MotoGP category as a guest at the Malaysian Grand Prix of the Motorcycling World Championship with a Ducati from the Aruba.it Racing Team.

“I am very happy to be able to race in MotoGP as a wild card at Sepang, a track that I really like and to which I am happy to return since it is not on the WorldSBK calendar. I want to sincerely thank Ducati and Aruba. it because, without them, it would have been impossible to have this opportunity”, declared Bautista in the team’s statement announcing his participation in the test, which will be held at the Sepang Circuit between November 10 and 12.

The rider from Talavera, who raced in the ‘queen’ category of motorcycling between 2010 and 2018, is dominating the Superbike World Championship this season, where he leads with a 74-point advantage over the Turkish Toprak Razgatlioglu (Yamaha), in the absence of four Grand Prix to be played.
