The account of the controversial tweeter Alvise Perez has been suspended after publishing a video in which the players of the Spanish soccer team are seen celebrating the achievement of the World Cup and commenting on Luis Rubiales’ kiss to Jenni Hermoso.
The video provoked diversity of opinions. Many pointed out that Hermoso was happy about the victory of the national team, and that not because he was the victim of the situation he had to be apparently ‘wrong’. On the other hand, some thought that it was irrefutable proof that the kiss without consent had meant nothing to her because he was happy and even ‘joking’ about the uncomfortable situation.
Following the publication of the video, Alvise Pérez continued to publish tweets with the ‘hashtag’ #JenniAPrisión, questioning the actions of the soccer player and stating on several occasions that “I want you to go to PRISON”. These tweets may have raised X alerts (formerly Twitter), since the policies of the social network could be violated by alleged hate speech or even edited videos.
It would not be the first controversy in which he is nosy. The most recent was this March, when Alvise Pérez was sentenced for spreading hoaxes about Manuela Carmena, former mayor of Madrid, to whom he paid 5,000 euros. Likewise, he was also sentenced to compensate former minister José Luis Ábalos with 60,000 euros for disseminating images without consent. He also compensated Ana Pastor with 1,000 euros for insinuating, without evidence, that the Newtral outlet that he directs committed irregularities or did not pay enough taxes.
