NIJMEGEN – The board of Alzheimer Region Nijmegen is looking for reinforcements.
The regional department advocates, for example, a dementia-friendly society, support for informal carers for people with dementia and information about all forms of dementia. Around 80 Alzheimer Café meetings are organized in the region every year, there is an Unforgettable Cooking Club and there are regular activities, for example around World Alzheimer’s Day in September. In addition, the department has a voice in almost all organizations in Nijmegen and seven other municipalities that are involved in one way or another with dementia.
The department is looking for a treasurer and secretary for the organization and implementation of these activities. Job profiles (it concerns volunteer work) can be requested from: [email protected]
