Amado “N” is sentenced to 75 years in prison for the crime of Qualified Homicide: FGE

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), through the Indigenous Justice Prosecutor’s Office, obtained in First Instance from the trial judge a conviction of 75 years and payment of reparation for the damage, against a male person, for the crime of Qualified Homicide, events that occurred in the municipality of Chilón.

The penalty imposed in the first instance consists of 75 years in prison and payment of a fine for reparation of the damage, consisting of the amount of 2 million 125 thousand 500 pesos and 76 thousand 500 for funeral expenses.

The sentence handed down by the Region 3 Prosecution judge of the Ocosingo Judicial District against Amado “N” for the crime of Qualified Homicide, to the detriment of Pedro “N”, Jorge Santiago “N” and a minor whose identity is protected .

The State Attorney General’s Office endorses its firm commitment to the people of Chiapas to guarantee the rule of law and reiterates that no criminal conduct will go unpunished.
