Amalia Kavali, in a rare interview, spoke to “Akoma Den Ides Tipota” about her role in the successful series of MEGA while also talking about her studies in economics.

“Stella in Navagio will try to claim justice and her life. He will try to see what has happened. I wanted to do acting before my studies but I was afraid. I studied economics so that my parents could feel secure.”

“The first day on the set of “Wild Bees” I was in shock. I had never been on camera, I didn’t know what everyone was doing. I had gone to a seamstress to make it work.”

Amalia Kavali was also mentioned about her battle for gender equality. “At “Women in arts” we are trying to show that in our country there is a big problem with gender equality. In the equality index of the EU we have the last place. In the theater, there is ageist racism against women, just like in society.”

As she said, her dream is to see a role of a woman from 50-70 years old without children and without dealing with her childlessness. “I look forward to nice collaborations in my work.”
