The theme of the exhibition ‘Hope’ depicts the hopes and optimism of Acehnese youth for the future of their region.

In the exhibition, from hundreds of registered participants, 35 best works were selected to be exhibited. The four best works will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of Idrus bin Harun and Reza Mustafa from Kanot Bu, Iskandar bin Ishak from the Acehrakitan Art Laboratory, and Fauzy Prasetya from Kadura Studio Jakarta.

Iskandar bin Ishak expressed his joy in being involved in the event. According to him, the exhibition boosts the confidence of young artists by providing a platform to showcase their work.

It helps them feel more confident in their artistic abilities. In addition, the exhibition encourages creativity and innovation, opening up new career opportunities in the visual arts for participants.

“I am very happy and proud to be involved in this kind of activity, because actually assessing this work is not something new because I am involved in that world,” he said.

Idrus bin Harun expressed similar sentiments. He appreciated AMANAH for providing a platform for Acehnese youth to express themselves. Idrus explained that this event also strengthens the arts community in Aceh by allowing artists to share ideas, experiences, and collaborate in the future.

This exhibition provides a platform for Acehnese youth to express their feelings and views through art, which is important for their personal and social development.

“AMANAH brings a breath of fresh air to Aceh’s youth. We hope this spirit will continue to the next generation,” he said.

AMANAH seeks to encourage the creativity of young people in Aceh by holding a visual art exhibition.
