Amanda Lear was a guest on Verissimo with Silvia Toffanin, where she shared numerous anecdotes about her life and also remembered Alain Delon, who recently passed away.
“He was always a great gentleman with me, very nice. There are people who say he had a particular character. I feel sorry to see these important men growing old, getting sick, and ending up with stories about inheritance. It would be better not to see them after a while,” said the artist, before surprising everyone: “In fact, this is the last time you see me. This way, people keep the memory of this wonderful character.”
The memory of her husband Alain Philippe
Amanda Lear also recounted her marriage and her husband Alain Philippe: “My husband was not happy.
I am against these showbiz couples; we are quite selfish, very focused on ourselves, and it’s difficult to share the spotlight. Alain suffered when I worked and did my shows while he was in the dressing room smoking, waiting for me. He was a writer and wrote all day, but he never managed to find his own identity.”
